I have two passions that come though in my work… research and working with my hands. When I have an interest in a hobby or craft, I research it until I have enough information to begin teaching myself how to do it. I have had many professions, one of which was a printing business where I did some graphic design work. I also owned an excavating company. I can artistically carve out a swimming pool with a backhoe.

All kidding aside, I have previously worked with oil paints, woodworking, guitar making, pottery and ceramics. I’m a bit of a perfectionist, and I'm always looking for something to nourish my changing interests and inspire my artistic eye. I find that inspiration and gain the greatest satisfaction working with stained glass and metal repousse. It’s very satisfying to see a finished piece of art that began in my mind’s eye.
